Integration of your systems doesn’t just happen. It takes a staff of professional systems integrators and access to the best brands in the industry. And, of course, it takes you. In this section, we’re outlining our basic process for you so you know what to expect when working with us.

First Meeting

You’ve most likely already invested countless hours reading, looking and clipping to create a wish book of ideas. We understand how important those ideas are to you. In our first meeting, we just want to listen to you, understand your ideas and then offer some ways in which we might help you turn those ideas into a reality.

Back to Our Drawing Board

After our initial meeting or meetings, it’s time for our expert designers, electrical engineers and master programmers to design a system that appropriately fits your needs, ideas and established budget.

There are no “cookie cutter” solutions at Franklin Central. We choose the right mix of products for your project, from the thousands that are available to us. Most importantly, the products have to play well together with ease of operation and we have the knowledge to make that happen.

Establishing Our Relationship

We certainly want your business, but not until we’re sure that you’re convinced that we understand your needs and you are excited about working with us. It’s about trust. Once you see how much we love what we do and see our commitment to design, engineering and planning, you will be more comfortable with us coming into your home.

Let’s Get to Work

Together we’ll start the process of choosing systems, products, colors, styles and finishes for your system. We’ll continue to communicate with you throughout the process, as well as your builder, designer and architect as we perfect your system design.

The Details

We know how important proper construction scheduling and momentum are to you. Our team will do everything we can to keep your project on track. For example, in the wiring phase, we’ll meet with you to determine exactly where you want phone and cable jacks, light switches and touch panels—whatever details your installation requires. We may even begin programming and staging your systems in our own offices. If you’re building a new home, we’ll be sure to schedule the appropriate installation time with your builder. We will do what it takes to keep within the agreed-upon timeline.

A Little Education

Once everything is installed and tested, it’s time for us to teach you about your new systems. We’ll show you how to work your new remotes, operate your lighting control system and use your telephones. We’ll go over any details you want or questions you might have until you’re confident that you’ll be able to enjoy your systems to the fullest.

But Wait, There’s More!

We’re not done with you yet. When you partner with Franklin Central Communications, you have a partner for life. Our business model is not built on doing one job and then disappearing. We’re always available to help you with technical support, upgrades or new systems. Just click or call.
